The Institute for Plasma Research is a premier scientific institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India devoted to research and development activities in the areas of basic Plasma Physics, Magnetic Confinement fusion and industrial applications of plasmas. Applications are invited from highly motivated and result oriented candidates for the following Posts under Regular and Contract Basis :
A. Regular Basis :
1. Engineer – SD (ITER – India) – 01 Post
Pay Scale : (PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 with basic Grade Pay Rs.6600/-
Qualification and Experience : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering + 5 years experience OR M.E. / M.Tech. (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering (Preferably Cryogenic Engineering) + 3 years experience.
2. Engineer / Scientist – 01 Post
Pay Scale : (PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 with basic Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Qualification and Experience : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Ceramic Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in synthesis of ceramic powders / materials and their characterization; or M.Sc. in Physics (First Class) and having minimum one year working experience in synthesis of ceramic powders / materials and their characterization. Fresh M.Tech. (First Class) (Physics / Ceramic Engg.)
3. Engineer (Mechanical) – 01 Post
Pay Scale : (PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 with basic Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Qualification and Experience : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering having minimum one year working experience in Engineering Design & Analysis.
4. Scientist 01 Post
Pay Scale : (PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 with basic Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Qualification and Experience : M.Sc. Physics (First Class) having minimum 1 year working experience in Lasers, Optics, opto-electronicsin working with high power lasers, hands of experience in optics and spectroscopy experiment, experience in handling high gain detectors like photo multiplier tubes,photo diodes and CCD camera. Knowledge in Vacuum system and data analysis will be an added advantage
5. Administrative Officer I – 01 Post
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 with basic Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Qualification and Experience : Graduate with Minimum 10 years experience of which at least 5 years in Supervisory Capacity in Administrative Duties
6. Accounts Officer I – 01 Post
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 with basic Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Qualification and Experience : ACA / SAS with minimum 3 years experience / M.Com. with 6 years experience in Supervisory capacity. B.Com. with 10 years experience of which 5 years in a Supervisory capacity in Accounts & Auditing. Acquaintance with Government rules & regulations, familiarity with computers is essential.
7. Assistant Accounts Officer – 01 Post
Pay Scale : (PB-2) Rs.9300-34800 with basic Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
Qualification and Experience : B.Com. + minimum 7 years experience of which at least 3 years in a Supervisory capacity. M.Com. + minimum 3 years experience in Accounts & Auditing in a large Industrial / Govt. Department
8. Technical Assistant C (Electronics) – 01 Post
Pay Scale : (PB-2) Rs.9300-34800 with basic Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
Qualification and Experience : Diploma in Electronics and Communication/ Industrial Electronics (First Class) from recognized University / Technical Examination Board with minimum 3 years of work experience in the various types of signal conditioning Electronics circuit designing and testing in industries. Knowledge of Orcad software is desirable. Basic electronics knowledge must require. Experience of working with data acquisition and control system, operating in RF and HV environments, will be an added advantage.
9. Technical Assistant B (Civil/Electrical) – 02 Posts (01 Civil ; 01 Electrical)
Pay Scale : (PB-2) Rs. 9300-34800 with basic Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Qualification and Experience : Diploma in Civil / Electrical (Fresh) (First Class) from recognized University / Technical Examination Boards.
10. Scientific Assistant B (Physics) – 08 Posts
Pay Scale : (PB-2) Rs. 9300-34800 with basic Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Qualification and Experience : B.Sc. (3 Years) (Fresh) (First Class) with (Physics) as a main subject.
B. Contract Basis : Pay Scale for the following Posts – Rs.29,000/- p.m. Consolidated
1. Engineer (Project) (Mechanical) – 06 Posts
Qualification and Experience : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering having minimum one year working experience in Engineering Design & Analysis / Fresh M.E. / M.Tech. degree in the relevant subject.
2. Engineer (Project) (Mechanical) – 01 Post
Qualification and Experience : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering having minimum one year working experience in Engineering Design & Analysis / Fresh M.E. / M.Tech. degree in the Cryogenics / Thermal Engineering.
3. Engineer (Project) (Mechanical) – 01 Post
Qualification and Experience : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering having minimum one year working experience in Engineering Design & Analysis / Fresh M.E. / M.Tech. degree in Machine Design / CAD & CAM.
4. Engineer (Project) (Electronics/Instrumentation and Control) – 03 Post
Qualification and Experience : (ELECTRONICS) : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Electronics & Communication Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in the Electronics circuit design and development / Fresh M.E. / M.Tech. degree in the relevant subjects. (INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL) : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Instrumentation & Control Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in the control system development / Fresh M.E. / M.Tech. degree in the relevant subjects.
5. Engineer (Project) (Civil) – 02 Posts
Qualification and Experience : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Civil Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in building constructions work and site supervision work and should be computer literate.
6. Engineer (Project) – 01 Post
Qualification and Experience : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Information Technology / Computer Science or M.Sc. (Computer Science) First Class or M.C.A. First Class having minimum 1 year programming experience in any higher / lower level language and experience in developing GUI based applications is required. Candidate having knowledge of PHP / Phython based programming will be given preference.
