The Institute for Plasma Research is a premier scientific institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India devoted to research and development activities in the areas of basic Plasma Physics, Magnetic Confinement fusion and industrial applications of plasmas. Applications are invited from highly motivated and result oriented candidates for the posts under special Recruitment Drive for OBC/SC/ST/PH :

1. Assistant Purchase Officer – 01 OBC

Pay Scale : (PB-2) Rs.9300-34800 with basic Grade Pay Rs.4600/-

Qualification and Experience : Graduate with 7 years experience of which at least 3 years  experience in Supervisory capacity in a Grade equivalent to the next Lower Grade. Experience in Customs (import & export) & Excise matters is desired.  Knowledge of Govt. of India Rules, regulations and acts and experience of handling procurement of technical equipment will be an added advantage.  Should have good communication skills with computer knowledge in word/excel/power point/internet etc.

2. Tradesman (A) Welder – 01 ST

Pay Scale : (PB-1) Rs.5200-20200 with basic Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Qualification and Experience : I.T.I. (First Class) (Fresh) in Welder Trade. Preference will be given to the candidates who have experience in reputed organization in familiarity with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) process in addition to shielded metal arc welding (SMAW).

3. Office Clerk (Accounts) – 01 HH

Pay Scale : 1 (PB-1) Rs.5200-20200 with basic Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

Qualification and Experience : SSC + 6 years experience / Inter + 4 years experience / Graduate + 2 years relevant experience in reputed organizations. Proficiency in personal computer / Typing. Preference will be given to the candidates having ability to do routine correspondence in English independently. Knowledge of Central Govt. rules will be of added advantage

4. Engineer / Scientist – 01 PH

Pay Scale :  (PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 with basic Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

Qualification and Experience :  B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Ceramic Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in synthesis of ceramic powders / materials and their characterization; or M.Sc. in Physics or M.Tech. (Physics / Ceramic Engg.) with (First Class) and having minimum one year working experience in synthesis of ceramic powders / materials and their  characterization.

5. Engineer (Mechanical) – 01 OH

Pay Scale :  (PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 with basic Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

Qualification and Experience : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering having minimum one year working experience in Engineering Design & Analysis.
